I recently listened to a song that so resonated with how i felt i contacted the artist. This man i s called Eric Bogle. He is most famous for a song called and the band played Waltzing Matilda.But this song is about a woman who lived in Sydney and passed away alone and unnoticed.The traumatic stories stories that many of us experience and observe can sometimes make us question “What is the reason for it all?” This song is called a reason for it all. Its been a hard year or two for many of us and i suppose in looking for closure in looking for a reason i stumbled on Eric. I told him i had nothing to offer and wanted no money from him.Then he did something so remarkable it has truly stunned me.He sang the song with me and assisted me with a studio to record it.My hope is that this illuminates the reality of isolation for so many lonely souls and for those of us who can’t reach them.This man a stranger to me gave me a gift that is so precious.This is a special song for Eric and truly the kindest action that anyone has ever afforded me.If nothing else may it show to others that true kindness exists.May it inspire us all to pay it forward to others however small or great an act.It truly can change a persons life.Imagine for Clare Campbell in the song had someone given her the gift of kindness and compassion.Pray you feel inspired and do join me in commenting on what way you have found to pay it forward.
